Top 6 Sneakers that Show Love to Australia

3 Mins read

Whether it’s the Adidas NMD or Ultraboost, Australia loves comfortable, stylish shoes. Considering that the aforementioned two are the most popular sneaker models in the Land Down Under, it is no surprise that some of the sneakers pay tribute to the country and its major cities in their silhouettes.

There are plenty of reasons to be proud of being Australian —  from their beautiful outdoorsy environment to the laid back atmosphere and lifestyle. With so much to show and love, Australian sneakerheads can be sure to wear their pride on their feet, with the following top 6 sneakers that pay tribute to the country.

Adidas Ultraboost DNA ‘Sydney’

As part of their Ultraboost series in paying tribute to various countries of the world, the Adidas Ultraboost DNA ‘Sydney’ nods its head to Australia and it’s vibrant outdoors. With the country’s national colours donning the entire shoe, this beautiful sneaker consists of a bright Collegiate Gold and Green colourway. The Primeknit upper is covered by the golden yellow cover, with the signature Three Stripes logo near the midfoot. The midsole of the shoe has a green and black color blocking covered by a white outsole. The word Sydney is embossed on the lateral side.

Adidas Ultraboost 2020 ‘City Pack Sydney’

With the city Sydney standing as one of Australia’s most iconic cities, it was no surprise to see Adidas celebrating the city with the Adidas UltraBoost 2020 ‘City Pack Sydney.’ The Blue and White colourway gives it a fresh aesthetic, as the simple silhouette has a clean upper made of blue Primeknit. You can see three distinct shades of blue on the shoe. The three characters SYD are embossed in white on the blue midsole, representing the love for the city. A geometrical lined figure endorses the back of the shoe, giving it a sleek, modern look.

There is a large UltraBoost midsole, with the laces on the shoe donning white as well. There are splashes of dark green on the midfoot, with the Ultraboost words printed on the lateral side of the shoe. The tongue features a tag with the adidas logo and the letter SYD on top of it.
