Top Picks for Animal Print Sneakers

4 Mins read

Animal print sneakers are full of personality, with distinct designs and textures. As the weather loosens up and winter comes to a close, it’s time to show off the animal in you. Whether zebra or tiger, we take a look at some of the top picks for animal print sneakers.

NIKE DUNK LOW SE ‘ANIMAL PRINT PINK’ (WMNS)

Despite the name of the shoe, you will not see any bold pink colours in the Nike Dunk Low SE Animal Print Pink. This women’s exclusive sneaker comes in a light brown colour on the upper, appearing on the toe box and the midfoot as well as on the overlays around the toe box and on the ankles. Another overlay appears in the same colour on the back of the shoe on the heel tab. The tongue and the laces match this colour as well. In fact, the only different colours on the sneaker appear on the Nike Swooshes, with the front part appearing in an orange leopard print design, the middle part is black, and the end in a shiny grey colour.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1/1 ‘ANIMAL PRINT’

The Animal Print iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 comes in a flashy design that would appeal to sneakerheads who enjoy bold colours and design elements on their shoes. The toe box of the sneaker comes in a beige and light green pattern, while overlays around the toe box, on both sides of the lace structure, and on the ankles come in a tiger print design in dark green and black colour. Another animal print appears in the form of brown and orange leopard prints on the midfoot and the heel tab of the shoe. Black laces sit on top of the shoe to match the prints on the upper. The same electric green colour also appears on the back of the shoe on the Nike branding on the heel tab. The shoe comes with a large white midsole and is covered by a flat gum outsole.

This three-way collaboration between Wacko Maria, Invincible, and Converse comes to you in a high top silhouette and bright colours, making it a definite style statement. This iteration of the collaboration between Kanye West and Adidas comes in a light colour blocking that will excite sneakerheads who prefer a more subtle look when it comes to their animal prints. The upper of the sneaker comes in a black and white Primeknit material. White patterns are visible below the upper due to their knit characteristics. The laces on the sneaker are white as well, which matches the colour of the sock lining and the high heel collar, while the pullout tab present on the back of the shoe again comes in black and white colour. A large white stripe runs from this pull-out tab at the back of the shoe all the way to the front. The sole of the sneaker comes in a large construction that is typical of the Yeezy brand and sticks out from the back of the shoe to give it a more slanting look.

NIKE DUNK LOW CRAZY CAMO

Mismatched shoes are all the rage with Nike nowadays as another shoe called the Nike Dunk Low Crazy Camo has come up. This low top silhouette comes with different coloured shoes, with the left shoe having a forest camo on the toe box and a flower-themed camo on the midfoot, while the patterns are exchanged in the right shoe with the flower-themed camo on the toe box and the forest camo on the midfoot.
