Real Madrid’s home shirt has been white for over a century. Barcelona’s has been anything but consistent.

The 26/27 Home Kit
Released 1 July 2026, and the headline stat is a good one: this shirt uses three different shades of red and three different shades of blue.
The vertical stripes run in burgundy, dark navy and brighter blues, with varying widths and tonal shifts carrying across the front, sleeves and back, and a subtle linear texture worked into the fabric underneath. The official colourway is “Deep Garnet / Blue Void / Blackened Blue / Mineral Yellow.”
The design reference is architectural — the panels on the façade of the new Spotify Camp Nou. A dark navy V-neck frames the shirt with a semi-hexagonal collar shape that’s new for the club, and matching navy cuffs. The crest sits in full colour on the left chest with a gold Nike Swoosh opposite. Spotify runs centrally in gold, with Midea on the left sleeve — the Femení version carries Bimbo there instead.
The detail most people miss is the one worth paying for. Nike introduced entirely new “Culer” numbering this season, with typography drawn from Catalan modernism — stylised shapes, vertical proportions, organic detailing. It only reads properly on a personalised shirt, which makes this the season where adding a name and number genuinely changes what you’re buying.
Tech: the authentic version uses Nike Dri-FIT ADV with AeroSwift construction and Aero-FIT branding near the hem, in a slim match fit. The replica uses standard Dri-FIT with a regular, more forgiving cut.

Logo colour is the fastest filter. White means 23/24, yellow means 25/26, and gold means either 24/25 or 26/27 — two shirts that are impossible to confuse, since one has no stripes.
Two of these have stories worth knowing. The 24/25 was the club’s 125th anniversary shirt, and Nike recreated the split half-and-half construction of Barça’s very first kit from 1899, with an anniversary mark inside the collar. It’s the most divisive Barcelona home shirt in years and the only one here without stripes.
The 23/24 is the better story. In 1970, Inma Cabeceran wrote to club president Agustí Montal i Costa proposing that Barcelona form a women’s team. It led to a behind-closed-doors women’s match at Camp Nou, and in 1971 the first Barcelona women’s supporters’ club formed — using the club badge set inside a diamond as its logo. That supporters’ club went on to create the club’s first women’s team in 1988. The diamond runs along the edge of every stripe on the shirt, and becomes visible under direct light.
Constants: Nike as supplier and Spotify on the front across all four seasons. Sleeve sponsors have moved around — Ambilight TV appeared on the 23/24 men’s shirt, Midea on the 26/27 — and the Femení shirts carry different sleeve branding to the men’s.
Which Season Should You Buy?
The 26/27 if you want what the squad wears this season. Six shades of blaugrana, the Camp Nou façade reference, and the new Culer numbering make it the most technically detailed home shirt Nike has made for this club — and the season where personalising it actually adds something.
The 23/24 if you care about the story. The 1971 women’s supporters’ club diamond is the most meaningful design reference of the four seasons, executed subtly enough that it never feels like a message. It’s also the most traditional-looking of the four if you prefer a clean stripe.
The 24/25 if you want the anomaly. Half-and-half, no stripes, gold logos, 125th anniversary mark in the collar. Shirts that break a sequence tend to age well in a collection, even when they divide opinion at launch.
