Buyer Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs cover the expense of getting your item from us to you. These costs will be included in the price breakdown at the time you place your purchase. Rates are based on the average size and weight of a product. Some items that are larger and/or heavier will incur additional shipping costs.


Orders are shipped via International Express couriers like DHL, UPS, FedEx, Aramex, International Standard couriers like Parxl, Janio, Luwjistik, and Local Express couriers like NinjaVan, SF Express, Yamato, and GDEX. The courier used depends on your shipping address and buyer shipment choice during checkout.


As a Buyer, you agree to pay any and all local, state, federal, or international taxes (including sales and import taxes) that may be due with respect to your purchase transaction.


We currently do pre-collect duties and taxes aside from buyers in Singapore and Australia so please be aware that your orders could incur customs charges.


If the fees are applicable, they are not included in the transaction made and the person receiving the parcel will be billed directly by the courier in the designated country.

Sales Taxes / VAT:

We ship to most destinations on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. This means that the prices displayed on site are exclusive of all taxes and duties and customers will be responsible for those charges.


We will collect sales or use tax (collectively “Sales Tax”) and Value-Added Tax (“VAT”) on purchases of taxable items from buyers located in certain jurisdictions where we have determined that we have a legal obligation to collect taxes for such purchases for some countries. In these jurisdictions, we will remit the tax collected from buyers to the appropriate taxing authority. In jurisdictions where we do not collect taxes, applicable tax laws may require sellers or buyers to collect, remit, or pay taxes to the appropriate taxing authority.


Sales Tax and VAT will apply based on a buyer’s shipping address rather than a buyer’s billing address. These taxes will apply to all purchases of taxable items for applicable jurisdictions, even for current offers that are completed at a later time.


Applicable tax rates may vary by jurisdiction. For Sales Tax purposes, some states/countries may include shipping fees in the calculation of Sales Tax while other states may exclude shipping fees.


We declare products at the total paid amount or the declared value with buyer shipment protection, and cannot entertain ad-hoc declaration requests.


Singapore, Malaysia, United Kingdom and Australia:

If you are a buyer from Singapore, Malaysia or Australia, your purchase will have included a Value Added Tax (VAT) or Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Sales and Service Tax (SST) at checkout. You will not be required to pay additional VAT/GST when your purchase clears import customs.


For Malaysian buyers, the implementation of DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is effective on January 29, 2024, at 5:05 PM SGT. Any purchases made prior to this date and time will still be subject to Sales and Service Tax (SST).


For United Kingdom buyers, the implementation of DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is effective on June 28, 2024, at 7:04:25 PM SGT. Any purchases made prior to this date and time will still be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT).


For Australian buyers, we do not collect Import Duties for purchase value or declaration value (whichever higher) above AUD 1000. As an Australian Buyer, you are responsible for paying Import Duties upon request from the shipping courier.


United States:

We collect sales tax on sales of taxable items shipped to applicable states affected by the Supreme Court decision and will continue to monitor additional states that may require sales tax collection.


Sales tax will apply based on a buyer’s shipping address rather than a buyer’s billing address. Sales tax will apply to all purchases of taxable items for applicable states, even for current offers that are completed at a later time.


Processing time

Local Orders: Typically, orders from Novelship are processed and completed within 5 to 9 working days.


International Orders: Orders placed from international sellers usually take about 9 to 15 working days to complete, with many being fulfilled even sooner.


Instant Ship: Instant Ship Products are pre-verified and ready to be shipped. These orders are dispatched to you within 1 to 2 working days. The courier time depends on the courier service and the custom clearance process, which is between 1 to 7 days.


Tracking numbers are always provided upon shipping, subject to seller fulfillment and warehouse quality control (QC) processes. Your product will first be sent from our suppliers and retail partners to our warehouses for inspection before dispatch.


Please be aware that processing and shipping times may be extended due to factors such as customs clearance, border restrictions, and delays from third-party logistics providers.


Maximum order quantity:

The maximum quantity per order and shipment will be 1 unit as the items may come from different suppliers.


Additional Information:

  • We are unable to make changes to the shipping address once the order has entered the authentication process.
  • We do not provide Cash on Delivery service, except for certain jurisdictions’ VAT collection purposes.
  • Purchase is non-refundable for all forms of shipping failure. If your order cannot be shipped, it will be returned back to us.
    • For items returned, they will be stored, and re-shipment can be requested after all incurred fees - including storage charges - are settled.
  • Shipment may be delayed due to limited flight schedules and customs clearance processes
  • Any additional costs incurred due to address amendments, shipment rerouting, or changes in shipping information will be charged to the buyer.
  • Should you be located in a Remote area, there will be an additional shipping fee (SGD 36 or equivalent) upon checkout. To avoid this, you may provide a different serviceable address for shipping.

Shipping Fee and Shipping Time:

We ship most of the orders on a DDU basis (except Singapore), tax and duties are not included in the order.

Shipping Issues

Shipment status not updated more than 3 days
  • Create a ticket via Contact Form.
  • Provide your order number and let us know what your inquiry is.
  • Attach screenshots relevant to your tracking inquiry.
Order marked as delivered but not received
  1. Reach out to your surrounding neighbors to ensure the package was not delivered to the wrong address.
  2. If the package is not located, create a ticket via Contact Form.
  3. Provide your order number and let us know what your inquiry is.
  4. When requested, please obtain and email a copy of the police report for further investigation.

Note: If the investigation confirms successful shipment with proof from the courier, Novelship will unfortunately not be able to seek or process any missing shipment claims.

Damage to the Contents
  1. Create a ticket via Contact Form
  2. Provide your order number and the following information:
    • Photo(s) of the issue, showing all relevant affected surfaces.
    • Photo(s) of the shipping box/carrier in full, with the courier tracking visible.
    • Photo of the Novelship QR sticker pasted on the shoe box.
    • Photo of the product inside the original packaging box (e.g. sneaker shoe box)
    • Photo of all contents within the shipping box/carrier

Note: Dents, tears, abrasion, and cuts to the original packaging box does not constitute damage. The packaging box’s purpose is to protect the contents within. We are unfortunately not able to seek or process any claims related.


* The investigation process may take 10-12 business days, and we will notify you once we receive information back from the logistics provider.


Lost Parcels: If you have added buyer shipment protection, you will be refunded the declared amount. Otherwise, we will compensate you with the amount provided by the courier.


*Issues related to incorrect shipping addresses resulting in lost parcels will not be eligible for compensation. Please double-check your shipping address for accuracy.


Damaged Products: Compensation for damage to the product enclosed depends on the amount offered by the courier and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
