Nike Air Ship OG ‘Banned’

1 Mins read

The infamous Nike Air Ship OG ‘Banned’ has an interesting history behind them, with them catapulting the Air Jordan 1 brand to the iconic level it is today. Banned by the NBA for violating the 51% rule, which stated that a majority of the sneakers worn should be of a white colourway, and unified with teammates, these legacy sneakers have finally been released to the public this August 2020.

While there have been many popular alternative red colourway sneakers that have been released since, all have been designed around this pair. The Nike Air Ship OG Banned come in a classic Black and Red colourway, with the base black leather topped by a red Nike swoosh, eyelets, and heels. The black tongue features the Nike Air logo in red, while the laces are intertwined with both colours, adding an extra flair to the sneaker’s aesthetic design.
