With high-end brands like <\/span>Balenciaga<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Gucci<\/span><\/a> putting out uniquely designed silhouettes throughout the year, it\u2019s no wonder that luxury sneakers are making their mark on the <\/span>streetwear culture<\/span><\/a>. While there are plenty of household luxury labels that have entered the market in the last few years by releasing their own shoes, we take a look at some of the more popular luxury sneaker collaborations that paved the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Air Jordan collaborated with the famous Paris fashion house Dior, releasing the beautifully clean <\/span>Air Dior collection<\/span><\/a>. The sneaker was a very exclusive release, with only about 8,500 pairs released. The shoe comes in a grey, white, and blue colourway, with certain splashes of black present on the Nike Swoosh. The upper of the shoe is constructed in premium leather, with an Air Dior wings logo on the heel. The midsole comes in a clean white and is covered by a translucent blue outsole. Traditional Dior monogram print on the Nike swoosh contrasts and stands out from the rest of the sneaker.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adidas and Prada collaborate on the ever-popular Superstar silhouette. The entire shoe comes in a white and off-white colourway, with black Prada text along the lateral sides of the shoe. There are perforations present in the midfoot that make the shoe breathable. The top of the white tongue also carries the Prada logo, with the Adidas logo at the rear heel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a fan of bright, flashy designs, the Vans Old Skool Kenzo collaboration will be perfect for you. This beautiful sneaker has a green, red, white, and pink floral print that covers the entire upper, midsole, and outsole. The eyelets of the shoe are bright red, while the laces themselves come in a white colourway. The Vans logo is visible on the white insole in black, while on the back of the shoe, you can see the Off The Wall branding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the lateral side of the shoe, a large N logo for New Balance is stitched stretching throughout the midfoot. The midsole of the shoe is rather chunky, with the sneaker supported by cleats. The sneaker has a sporty aesthetic that makes this shoe highly popular for more active, outdoor people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The laces of the shoe are completely black, matching the heel collar of the sneaker.
