With this year’s upcoming Nike Air Max Day, on March 26th , Nike plans to do something a bit more unique and immersive, giving customers a virtual experience during a global pandemic. People can visit their website to watch, listen, and connect with Nike, and be   inspired by the history of the silhouette. 

Lasting for a day, the event is expected to take place in Toronto, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Chicago, New York, Shanghai and many other cities. People will be able to attend workshops, panels, and collection tours to get the hottest content on the iconic Air Max. CLOT Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’ 2021

Originally released in 2006, the Kiss of Death collaboration between Nike Air Max and CLOT is returning in 2021. Coming in a beige, maroon, and orange colourway, the midsole of the shoe is completely orange in color with a transparent gum bubble near the back foot. The top of the shoe is made of beige, appearing around the toe box. The Nike Swooshes appear in maroon, trailing back to the rear where you can see a distinct orange pattern design.. The sneaker is supported by a light blue outsole. Unique in its appearance, this collaboration release is a popular Air Max that a lot of people want to get their hands on.

Air Max 95 ‘Neon 20’

With heavy detailing on the upper of the shoe in white meshing and shades of grey, this futuristic Air Max comes in a black, and grey colour blocking. The midsole and outsole of the shoe are completely black with slight splashes of neon green on the bottom. The Nike Swoosh appears on the lateral side in a small neon design, with the same bright illuminating colour visible in the laces itself. Wavy patterns appear on the upper in the form of grey shades, with a gradient transition into the darker midsole.

Denham Air Max 1 ‘Blue Void’

This collaboration between Denham and Nike is an excellent choice, bringing forth a more retro aesthetic to the Air Max line. Released in a majorly blue and white colourway, the upper of the shoe is made of textured and patterned blue material with white laces. You can see the white stitched Nike swoosh hide into a beige heel tab, with the midsole of the shoe completely white and covered by a brown outsole.The pair have a translucent gum bubble near the backfoot of the shoe. The sneaker is supported by a red coloured gum sole, that gives added comfort and support.

Undefeated x Nike Air Max 97 ‘Militia Green’

This collaboration between Undefeated and Air Max comes in a green, black, and white colour blocking. There are green laces that sit on top of the green tongue, with grey appearing around the lace structure. The midsole of the shoe is completely white and has a translucent gum bubble across. The black outsole sits at the bottom, with the Nike Swoosh appearing just above the midfoot. Right along the medial and lateral sides of the shoe in black, you can see the Undefeated logo along the wavy line, sitting right above the Nike swoosh.

Nike Air Max 1/97 ‘Sean Wotherspoon’

Sticking to the wavy designs of the Air Max upper, this collaboration between Sean Wotherspoon and Air Max comes in multiple colours, adding to a more retro ’70s vibe. The Nike logo is visible in yellow just above the midfoot on both sides of the shoe, and in blue near the front foot, near the toe box, right on the lateral side of the shoe. The upper comes in blue, orange, grey, and yellow, and runs in wavy shapes throughout the length of the shoe. The tongue and laces of the shoe are also yellow in color.

Nike Air Max 90 ‘Reverse Duck Camo’

The name of the Air Max 90 Reverse Duck Camo comes from the inverted colour scheme from the original Duck Camo iteration of the shoe. The shoe comes in a red, black, and white colour blocking. Constructed from red mesh material, the detailing is camouflage green, giving a distinct contrast to the shoe. The silhouette is supported by a white-black midsole and is stroked by a red outsole. The camo print appears everywhere on the mudguard and side panel of the shoe, spanning the entire length. You can see the Air Max logo in red on black just below the ankle of the shoe.

Denham x Nike Air Max 95 ‘Denim’

Constructed of denim, mesh, and leather, this collaboration between Denham and Nike brings a beautifully unique silhouette to the market, with neon, green, black and brown tones all in one. The lower part of the shoe comes in black with the signature Air Max wavy structure defining the beige upper. The midsole and outsole of the shoe are completely black in colour, with translucent bubbles appearing both near the back foot and the front foot. Both the aforementioned bubbles, lace grips, and Nike swoosh come in a neon green colourway, adding to the distinct appearance of the shoe.

Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’ 2020

The Air Max 90 Infrared 2020 comes in mesh, suede, and leather overlays throughout the shoe. It is constructed of a black, white, and grey colourway, supported by a thick red-white midsole. The toe box, tongue, and laces of the shoe are white and are covered in grey detailing. Throughout the sneaker, you can see the red and orange detailing appear in different places, giving the sneaker a sturdy, futuristic appearance.

Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 React ‘Cactus Trails’

This collaboration between Travis Scott and Air Max is one of the hottest releases from the Air Max line. Its futuristic-aesthetic gives the shoe an added bump of taste, with a large yellow midsole covered by a translucent grey outsole. The upper comes in a beige color with brown appearing on the toe box. You can see an orange Nike Swoosh sitting on top of beige suede just below the ankle.

Nike Air Max 90 ‘Valentines Day’ 2021 WMNS

Coming in a white, red, and pink colourway, the Air Max 90 Valentine’s Day 2021 is a nod to the February holiday, giving a retro look to an otherwise high-end, new aesthetic. Although the holiday has passed, the popularity of the sneaker is worth mentioning, as the midsole and upper are white in colour, donning a beautiful pink and red detailing. Just below the ankle of the shoe on the lateral side, you can see the Air Max logo in red.
